At times, we are entrapped in a waiting time. What makes us restless? What are the inefficiencies that we see? Below are two small examples of waiting time that I experienced.
This series explore the workings of systems and environment in our lives.
First Case: at the cinema
Crowds accumulate while queuing the tickets and waiting the show. The entire ecosystem holds movie premier, food and beverages, arcade, creative community, promotional goods, performance arts, etc. At the theater, available food counter and arcades are optional.
Radical change might involve the whole shopping experience. For example, a systemic gate at the entrance for teasers. The customer waits while exploring the rest of the area.
Second Case: at the airport
Wasting time is when time passes without us doing any purposeful activity. For example, waiting for a delayed plane.
Passengers wait for the boarding announcement while waiting. This is an asset: knowledge of specific information that can save time to use for another activity, ex: 15 mins of coffee
